That is less flashy than Mega Rayquaza, but it removes misleading gaps. Completion-focused players no longer have to wonder whether an owned card failed to count because it came from a different pack.

A separate safeguard guarantees a four-diamond-or-higher card on the next pack from the same expansion when certain conditions are met. The exact trigger was not explained in the public reveal. Players should check the in-game wording before estimating odds or spending resources around it.

Events provide a longer runway

Elite deck gift missions run from late July through late October and award a Fighting-type deck built around Mega Lucario ex and Hitmonchan ex. Summer missions, an Emblem Event, Community Week, a Mega Houndoom ex Drop Event, and a themed wonder pick were scheduled across August and have since ended. Deluxe Pack: ex boosters were also scheduled to return.

The gift deck lowers the barrier for players whose collections fell behind, while the event calendar gave active players several reasons to check back after launch day.
